Director of Quality, Americas
Larry brings over 28 years of quality assurance experience in the steel industry to his leadership role at Edgen Murray and is responsible for the design, implementation, communication and auditing of all quality, health, safety, and environmental programs for the Americas. He is our internal expert for quality issues, regulatory agency compliance issues, third party safety and liability, and material testing. Larry spent the early part of his career specializing in heat treating and non-destructive testing, including ultrasonic testing, and magnetic particle testing. Larry’s extensive training in testing, quality auditing, and quality management provide value to our customers, ensuring quality products are delivered on schedule with all required documentation. Larry has a Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree from Southwest Texas State University.
QHSE Manager, Europe
David has 29 years of experience in the steel industry and is responsible for the maintenance and development of QHSE systems, and the creation and implementation of manuals and procedures across all Edgen Murray European entities. David learned his trade having assumed roles in light and heavy fabrication across various industries and was qualified in fabrication techniques and multiple welding disciplines. He is responsible for developing the company audit program in Europe and carrying out internal audits, as well as external vendor evaluation and approval audits, ensuring reduction of risk within the supply chain. Furthermore, David prepares project specific quality plans in adherence to national and customer specifications and has overall responsibility for all quality control functions across our European business units. David has a BSI Diploma in Quality Management Systems and Process Improvements and is an ISO Qualified Lead Auditor and an ISO Qualified Internal Auditor.
Binil B Chacko
Quality Assurance Manager and HSE Officer, Middle East
Binil has extensive technical experience in various oil and gas related projects, having assumed previous roles of Quality Control Engineer at Metrade International FZE and Site Engineer at Kochi Refineries Ltd. He is responsible for the review of all material test certificates, inspection and test reports and project documentation, as well as technical expediting of critical orders. Binil is also in charge of the development and implementation of the integrated management system (IMS ) for Edgen Murray Middle East operations, in compliance with ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001. Binil has a B.TECH in Mechanical Engineering and a Post Graduate Diploma in Oil Field Engineering & Quality Control. He has further completed ASNT Level II in RT, PT, UT,MT and is a Certified Internal Auditor in ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System and Certified in AUTOCAD 2009.
QA Manager, Asia-Pacific
Sundar has 13 years of experience in quality control and as Quality Assurance Manager for the Asia-Pacific region, is responsible for the maintenance and development of Edgen Murray QHSE, Document Control and Construction Products Regulation procedures, and documentation for all Edgen Murray regional businesses. Sundar also manages the timely resolution of customer complaints across the APAC region and implements process improvements to better serve our customers. In his role, Sundar fosters a company culture of continuous improvement by creating awareness and employee engagement on quality, health and safety, and green initiatives. Sundar has a Masters in Engineering & Technological Management.
Senior Market Manager – Technical
Cameron has extensive technical expertise, with 19 years of experience in engineering, including 9 years working as Technical Manager for an ERW mill. His role within Edgen Murray has dual responsibilities. Cameron manages all technical compliance audits and quality management system audits on our APAC vendors. He is also responsible for providing all engineering support for Edgen Murray Australia. In this role, he reviews customer specifications and supplier offers and negotiates agreed specifications with both sides. Cameron has a PhD in Material Engineering and a BE in Manufacturing and Materials Engineering Hons 1. Cameron is NACE CIP Level 1 certified and has been an Australian Pipelines and Gas Association Research and Standards Committee Executive since 2009. He sits on the Australian Standards Committees: ME38/1 (Australian Standard for Pipeline Design); ME38/8 (Australian Standards for Pipeline Coating).
