For the exploration and production of oil and gas from offshore fields, materials must withstand high mechanical stress, pressures and extremes of temperature. Our product range of high grade plates, pipes and sections includes products that meet or exceed international specifications and encompass a wide range of grades within those codes.
Our steel offerings include structural, offshore, wear resistant, high and ultra high strength, boiler and pressure vessel and shipbuilding steels sourced from premium international mills and accredited by independent third party inspectors and can be supplied with requested information regarding weldability data and fracture mechanics.
Structural steel materials are offered in many supply conditions including:
- Quenched & Tempered (Q&T)
- Normalised
- Thermo Mechanically Control Rolled (TMCP)
- As Rolled
- Additionally certain steels can be tested in the Simulated Post Weld Heat Treated condition (PWHT)
Our primary Structural Steel Products are:
- Steel Plates - up to 200mm/8 inch thick
- Structural Beams - up to 914mm/36 inch
- Welded Pipe - Submerged Arc Welded (SAW), up to 1219mm/48 inch
- Seamless Pipe - Hot Finished Seamless (HFS) up to 610mm/24 inch O.D.
- Hollow Sections - square (SHS) and rectangular (RHS) up to 508mm/20 inch
- Angles - rolled steel angles (RSA) up to 200mm/8 inch
