Dan O’Leary has been involved in the steel pipe and distribution industries for more than 30 years. He joined Edgen as Chief Operating Officer in 2003, and later became President and CEO leading the company through a period of exponential growth including several acquisitions, entry into new global markets, a public offering and finally the acquisition by Sumitomo Corporation in 2013. In addition to prior leadership positions with Stupp Corporation, Maverick Tube Corporation, Red Man Pipe & Supply and Lone Star Steel, Dan is a former Vice-Chairman of the Committee on Pipe and Tube Imports and a member of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors.
Greg Baker became Edgen Murray’s President – Americas in December 2016. Greg has been with the organization for over 18 years, starting with a sales role at Bartow Steel, Edgen Group’s 2nd major acquisition. He has had various leadership roles during his tenure at Edgen Murray, including Director of Strategic Sourcing, Director of Midstream, Vice President of Sourcing, and most recently as Vice President of Business Development. Today he works closely with customers, mills and manufacturers and leads the sales, sourcing and operational activities of Edgen Murray throughout North and South America. Greg cites Edgen Murray's greatest strength as its people - the dedication they have to the business and their competitive drive to provide premier service to our customers. He believes in constant innovation and improvement, while being honest, open, ethical, and fair. Greg is also a member of the National Association of Steel Pipe Distributors.
Managing Director, Eastern Hemisphere
Craig Doel joined Edgen Murray in 2000. After running his own company, Craig started his tenure with Edgen in Singapore as a Sales Manager. After five years in Singapore, he moved on to assume key positions across the Eastern Hemisphere, first to Australia to set up the Perth office, then to London, Dubai and finally back Singapore to head the Asia Pacific and Middle East operations. In his current role, Craig directs all commercial and operational activities of our Eastern Hemisphere businesses. Accustomed to operating in culturally diverse environments, Craig values the importance of local representation to best serve our customers and builds teams who understand the cultures our clients operate in.
J. Michael Robinson
Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel
Mike Robinson joined Edgen Group in April, 2013 as General Counsel. Recently, he was appointed as Chief Administrative Officer and General Counsel, and in this new role, he is responsible for legal matters, policy development, and total risk management, along with global oversight of human resources and employee learning and development functions. Mr. Robinson also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Edgen Group Inc.
During his tenure with Edgen Group, Mr. Robinson has been responsible for overseeing the merger transaction with Sumitomo Corporation of America, providing legal advice on SEC matters, including filings under the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934, joint ventures, contracts, acquisitions, divestitures, employment-related matters, banking and other financial transactions and advising the Board of Directors of Edgen Group on a variety of issues.
Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer
Alan Jones is Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer of Edgen Group. Mr. Jones joined the company in 2007 and is responsible for the company’s global technology strategy. He has over 30 years of experience in industrial distribution and Information Technology. Mr. Jones is a frequent speaker at technology conferences and has authored technology articles published in leading industry trade magazines. He is the past President of the Infor HVAC user group and is a certified Six Sigma Green Belt.
