Compressor Stations

Compressor stations, located every 40-100 miles along a pipeline, enable natural gas to travel through pipelines by compressing the gas to a specified pressure. These high pressure, and sometimes, high temperature environments require a carbon pipe with up to .500 wall thickness and corresponding components such as segmentable fittings, ball valves, and butterfly valves.

Edgen Murray provides pipesvalvesvalve automation, and fittings to support new compressor stations or replacement materials for existing installations. We work with leading fabricators and provide support from materials inspection, testing and coordination of complex delivery schedules through our on-hand inventory, mill relationships, and project management expertise.
