New Malaysia Presence

Finding ways to better service our customers is in the heart of everything we do. This is why we have recently established Edgen Murray Malaysia Sdn Bhd. Malaysia is not a new market for Edgen Murray. We have been supplying our Malaysian customers via our APAC headquarters office in Singapore for a number of years with great success. Some of the key projects we have supplied include ANGSI D, Turkmenistan Block 1A, Petronas FLNG1 and SK316. However, despite the results achieved, we knew we needed to establish an in country presence to better service our customers there.

The core focus of the new entity is to service our Malaysian customers to the highest professional standards by applying our global expertise and vendor network at a local level. Excellent customer service is central to our business model and through our local entity, we are able to provide regular face to face interaction and client support to ensure quality products, service and delivery.

We bring value to the market through experience, professionalism and pride in what we do. We have the financial strength, global footprint and knowledge to efficiently supply large volume projects and MRO requirements. Furthermore, our diverse product and service portfolio allows us to adapt and shift with the ever changing demands of the market.

Finally, we are committed to the region. We believe in the resilience of the Malaysian market and are confident the Edgen Murray model will provide value to those doing business there in these challenging times for the global oil and gas sector. We have invested in people and infrastructure and are confident our clients will benefit from our understanding of steel pricing, mill capacities, lead times, as well as our technical expertise, procurement capabilities and logistical services we provide.
